Use Annotations to Enhance Screen Sharing

Sometimes talking end-users through a training or support process can be too limiting. Plus, when you show someone how to do something rather than do it for them, you reduce repeat help requests. If you're in a view-only mode without remote control, just being able to chat with the end-user may not cut it. That’s why Bomgar lets you enhance screen sharing sessions with annotations.

Draw, Highlight, Circle, Box and Erase

Annotations let you mark up and highlight the end-user’s screen even if full remote control is not enabled.

Simply draw on the screen to provide visual cues or to highlight areas as needed.

Then erase your mark-up and move on to the next step.

Annotation Tools

Bomgar’s annotation feature gives you all you need to instruct end users during screen sharing sessions. Use a rectangle to show an end-user where they need to input information. Or use arrows and circles to walk a user through a series of steps. Annotation options include:

  • Virtual Pointer
  • Pen
  • Rectangle drawing tool
  • Ellipse drawing tool
  • Eraser
  • Undo
  • Clear
  • Red, Black, or White colors
  • Thin, Medium, or Thick line
