IT firms lend support to polar race - Channel Pro

IT service and support firm Pure Technology and Bomgar, a specialist in enterprise remote support, are partnering to assist Simply Stuck company director Jo Wichcombe in her 350 mile traverse across extreme polar territory. Starting from Resolute Bay in Nunavut and finishing at the magnetic North Pole, Jo will be attempting to win the prestigious Wedgewood Blue Ice Trophy.

Using Bomgar’s remote support technology, Pure Technology will be able to remotely access and monitor the performance of Jo’s IT communications equipment, which will operate in extreme Arctic temperatures of -40 degrees.  Read More.
