Bomgar Corporation Continues Dynamic Growth in First Half 2008
RIDGELAND, Miss. - Bomgar Corporation, the leading provider of appliance-based remote support software, today announced it closed another successful quarter, capping a record first half 2008. In addition to continuing year-over-year growth of more than 90 percent, Bomgar participated in a number of awareness programs highlighting strategic customers such as Novell, The Salvation Army, and MIT.

Product Enhancements: Bomgar introduced version 10.1 of its appliance-based remote support software. The latest version of Bomgar software includes features designed to help organizations easily virtualize the people involved in IT support, enabling them to be more efficient and effective.
Industry Recognition: Bomgar’s outstanding growth and product vision were recognized by a number of industry outlets. The company was selected as a finalist for the Inc. 500 and Red Herring 100. Additionally, Bomgar version 10 was named a finalist for the Software CEO Innovation Award for its unique approach to resolving tech support challenges.
Market Validation: In April, Gartner analysts named Bomgar a “Cool Vendor” for 2008. This prestigious list highlights companies that offer technologies that are innovative, impactful and intriguing enough to have caught Gartner’s interest or curiosity in the past six months.
