Real-Time Chat: Translate Chat Messages between Rep and Customer
Real-time Chat Translations
When enabled, messages between a customer and a representative are translated in real time. Customers who start sessions using the public portal can select their language from the dropdown menu at the top of the page. Representatives can select their preferred chat language from the Settings > Global Settings page in the representative console.
To make real-time translation available, enter your GeoFluent API Key and API Secret and then click Save. To enable the feature check Enable Real-time Chat Translations.
Note: To use this feature, you must first create a GeoFluent account. For more information please visit www.lionbridge.com/en-us/geofluent.
The table shows all the possible language pairs in which real-time chat translation can function, from Language A to Language B.
Note: The list displays only the language pairs to which you have subscribed in GeoFluent.
