LogMeIn closed its merger with Citrix Systems' GoTo business earlier this year, and in a recent interview, LogMeIn CEO Bill Wagner stated, "there will be some consolidation within the next year, particularly with overlapping remote access products."
What will happen with products such as LogMeIn Rescue and GoToAssist is yet to be seen, but those concerned about their remote access solution may find this is a good time to consider other options.
