Friday, the Bomgar Care Network rolled up their sleeves and took half a day to lend helping hands at Eagle Ranch. Nestled in a quiet, rural Georgia community about an hour northeast of Atlanta, Eagle Ranch is a Christian-based children’s home for nearly 70 boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 18. The Ranch is a multi-faceted center – a home, school and counseling center – where children find a stable environment while their original families learn to put their lives back together again.
For an afternoon, the Bomgar Care Network helped complete some much needed chores around the property, including:
Spreading 90 yards of mulch near the girls playground area
Spreading over 100 bales of pine straw around trees at the entrance of the ranch.
This week’s project is part of a quarterly initiative of the Bomgar Care Network. Each quarter, a small group of Bomgar advocates identify and select a charity to support. Once chosen, the remaining Bomgar employees are given the chance to pitch in and lend a helping hand. Be on the lookout for the next project!
