July 10, 2007We're pleased to announce the the second maintenance release of Bomgar 9.3 is now available to you. Here's what's new in Bomgar 9.3.2:
New Features and Enhancements:
- Added support for specifying a default group policy for a provider (including Local providers). Any user who is successfully able to authenticate with that provider will have the policy assigned.
- Organizational Units (OU) can now be added to group policies as groups.
- Browsing a Security Provider through the Group Policies interface is no longer limited to 200 displayed members at any given time.
- Searching an LDAP Security Provider will now search using the users Search Query, but also search all configured User/Display Name mappings. This allows customers to search by a user's first or last name.
- Additional support for Vista Run-As-Administrator
- Included a feature that turns mouse-override off in Terminal Services and Citrix connections for improved user experience.
Issues Resolutions:
- Resolved a Mac issue where it would continue to prompt to send an old error report until you have actually sent it.
- Resolved an issue where temporary files from file-transfer operations were not being cleaned up when the Mac customer client is uninstalled.
- On system info for win32, the "IP Address" and "Netmask" labels were incorrectly labeled. These are now corrected.
- Resolved a verbiage error when transferring multiple files.
- Implemented a resolution for intermittent Copy-Paste issues.
- Security Providers:
- Resolved an issue where UTF-8 characters and LDAP reserved characters were inappropriately displayed.
- Resolved an issue where duplicate users were showing up after a synchronize operation on the LDAP users page.
- Resolved an issue where an LDAP Group provider would become unreachable after an upgrade from 9.2.3 to 9.3.0 or 9.3.1.
- Resolved an issue where an LDAP Group provider would become unreachable when it was copying a configuration from an LDAP User provider which was using a Connection Agent.
