Bomgar™ 9.1 Release:

The Next Revolution in Remote Support (Q&A)

Note: For easier reading, speakers' names have not been inserted in this question/answer section.

Q: What format is the session recording stored in?

A: It is stored in a native format for the sake of space. But when it's played back as a flash file

Q: This is another question from the computer bank about the reboot feature. Is there any way to reboot the unit in safe mode and still have access to the Bomgar™?

A: We are looking at a means of rebooting in the safe mode with networking. We don't have that currently. The application will run in safe mode but it does not allow you to reboot in the safe mode because currently that would involve - usually that's going to involve pressing F8 as you go through the options booting up. We don't have anything that allows you to do that at this point. We are looking at that as an option for a future release.

Q: This is a question about Active Directory. The customer asks "We have multiple Active Directories for several locations. Can the LDAP connector connect to more than one Active Directory?

A: Yes you can. You can connect to multiple Active Directory, multiple LDAP servers. We have something that's a LDAP agent which basically you would - if it's running local to the server, if the appliance is on the same network as the LDAP server then it can communicate directly. If not, you have an LDAP agent which resides on the network with the LDAP server and you can have it connect to multiple LDAP servers. So for instance, you could have multiple LDAP servers that you are connected to and create group policies based on those separate LDAP servers.
