Bomgar™ 9.1 Release: The Next Revolution in Remote Support (Q&A)

Note: For easier reading, speakers' names have not been inserted in this question/answer section.

Q: Can one rep transfer control from one user to another?

A: Yeah, two reps can - a rep can transfer the session to another rep and it's going to transfer over those privileges. Actually I think it transfers over the privileges. It may be the case that the new rep would have to request the privileges. But I think it transfers over the remote control privileges. I'll have to get back and give you a more precise answer on that one.

Q: Could you clarify the versions of Mac that this works with?

A: Sure. It's Mac - the latest version of Mac OSX Tiger which is 10.4 and it does not work on previous versions although we will be adding support for 10.3 in the near future.

Q: So this is not just those 10.4 with the Intel Processor?

A: That's right. I'm sorry. It does - I should have mentioned this earlier. It works on both the power PC and Intel based Macs 10.4.
