Bomgar™ 9.1 Release:

The Next Revolution in Remote Support (Q&A)

Q: Does Bomgar™ 9.1 work with all internet connection types?

A: The answer to that is yes it will work even when down to dial-up we've used it on I think as little as - the lowest connection speed I've ever used it on I think was around 11K for some sort of flakey wifi or satellite connection. So it will work. Like many things on dial-up it's not gonna work as fast. So you will experience more latency, but it should work even at those low speeds and it's far preferable than trying to talk someone through an issue over the phone.

Q: What type of reports are created, Excel, Word, etc.?

A: Well we actually - we have the reports generated on the appliance and then we have a couple of options. One of which as I've talked about is the API where you can pull the information and create - and it gives you an xml file of the data which you can take in pars and create the report as you want it. The other is we give you the option to download as a csv, comma-separated value file which runs in Excel and you can create your reports from there.
