Bomgar™ 9.1 Release:

The Next Revolution in Remote Support

Nathan McNeill, VP of Product Management, Bomgar:
As I mentioned before the administrator has the ability to decide whether or not they want session recording and the chat transcript to be available to the user after the session. Then once the session is over they are actually - the administrator has the ability to forward them to an exit survey. This survey with 9.0 was completely static and included a couple of fields - with 9.1 it's completely customizable.

You can add up to ten customized questions. This is radio buttons, check boxes, combo boxes, comment fields, whatever you need in order to get the proper information from your customers. You might just want one yes/no, you might want ten very specific questions. It is just up to you and the kind of information you want to gather. This is all logged within the appliance and is all available via the API.

So to kind of sum up some of these things, the last few features that I've been over with LDAP again the level of customization and integration with our appliance product is greater than with any of the other products on the market currently. With LDAP we allow you to use your own directory. With the API we allow you to integrate with your own systems. With customization you can use your own, your company's look and feel and not only that but your messaging.

With the appliance and I haven't really gone into this in detail - with the appliance since it resides at your location - it allows you to integrate within your existing security infrastructure and to maintain your existing compliance posture. So you don't have to re-write your whole policy based on, you know adding a service provider to the list or something like that. The bottom line here is ownership, is that you own the solution and you control the solution and you can customize and integrate the solution into your existing processes.
