How to Use the Representative Client

Summary

The Summary tab gives an overview of any custom information the customer may have provided in the support request form. You can also add notes about the session. If the session is shared or transferred, these notes can be submitted by one representative and pulled by another for a quick, private review of the situation. These notes will also be available in the session report. Notes can be added either during or after the session.

If your administrator has enabled the XML API interface, you can designate an external key for use in custom API reports. Another option that your administrator may choose to enable is the ability to lock the remote computer when the session closes. When you have been working on an unattended system, for example, locking the computer is recommended to prevent unauthorized users from viewing private information.
