Installing the Representative Client

1. In any web browser, go to the URL of your Bomgar Box followed by /login and enter the username and password set by your administrator. You may be prompted to change your password the first time you log in.

2. From the My Account page, download and install the Bomgar representative client file [bomgar-rep.exe].

NOTE: Users of some browsers such as Mozilla or Opera may need to save the .exe before opening it or running it.

NOTE: On a Linux system, you must save the file to your computer and then open it from its downloaded location. Do not use the Open link that appears after downloading a file from some browsers.

3. Steps 3-8 guide you through the Bomgar representative client setup wizard. When the installation wizard appears, click Next.
4. Read and accept the license agreement. If you do not accept the license agreement, you will not be able to proceed with the installation.
5. Read and agree to the disclaimer.
6. Choose whether you would like the Bomgar representative client to be installed for all users on your system or only for your user account.
7. Choose where you would like the representative client to download. The default location in Windows is C:\Program Files\Bomgar\Representative. NOTE: This location will differ when installing the representative client on a Mac or Linux computer.
8. After installing the representative client, you can choose Run Representative Client Now and/or Run at Startup. Then click Finish. NOTE: If you choose Run Representative Client Now during installation, a Bomgar icon will appear in your computer's system tray or dock, and a login prompt will appear on your screen.
