Jumpoint: Enter Hostname/IP

Next, either enter the remote computer's hostname or IP address or browse to it from the network directory. Once you have located the computer to which you wish to connect, click Jump. Your Bomgar Box will push the customer client files to the remote system and attempt to start a session. You will be required to provide valid credentials before you can access the remote system. Depending on the permissions your administrator has set for your account, the end-user may be prompted to accept or deny the session. If no response is received within a defined interval of time, the session will either start or cancel, again depending upon your account permissions.

NOTE: Jumping without an installed Jump client is not currently available for Mac or Linux computers or mobile devices. However, you can gain unattended access to Mac and Linux computers through a pre-installed Jump client, as described in the next section. To Jump to a Vista computer without a Jump client, that computer must have Remote Registry Service enabled (disabled by default in Vista) and must be on a domain. This need not be true for a Vista computer with a pre-installed Jump client.
