Users & Security > Security Providers

Security providers are now grouped into two sections: Kerberos Providers and Password-based Providers. There is also an option to add a Kerberos server when adding security providers.

There are two unique options for configuring a Kerberos server. User Handling Mode determines who is allowed log in to your Bomgar Box: anyone who currently authenticates via your Key Distribution Center (KDC), only specified user principals, or only user principals who match a specified Perl-Compatible Regular Expression (PCRE).

SPN Handling Mode enables you to choose whether to allow all configured Service Principal Names (SPN) for this particular security provider or to select SPNs from a list of the currently configured SPNs. SPNs can be configured from the Kerberos Keytab page.

All security provider configurations include the option to Keep display name synchronized with remote system. If this option is selected, users' display names cannot be changed through your Bomgar interface but can only be changed directly on the server. The Display Query field has been added to applicable service provider configurations to allow for this feature.
