How Does BOMGAR Remote Access Software Work?
Connecting with our remote access software:
How can you to gain remote access to your clients' PC, Linux, and Mac systems with Bomgar™ remote access software? Although firewalls block incoming traffic, they do allow outbound traffic. Bomgar™ remote access software enables a connection when both the support rep and the end-user send outbound traffic to the B200. This means you can gain remote access to any PC, Linux, Mac, or Windows Mobile™ device world-wide.

1. Support Within a Local Network
Control Attended Systems Employees can initiate a remote support session with your help desk via your online support portal for issues that require immediate attention.
Control Unattended Systems For scheduled troubleshooting, a support rep with administrative access can push a support session to a PC or Windows server within the LAN with Bomgar's Jump™ functionality.
2. Support Within a Separate Network
Control Attended Systems To gain remote control through firewalls, both the support rep and the client connect to the B200 outbound through firewalls, eliminating the need for firewall configuration.
Control Unattended Systems Installing a Jumpoint™ remote access software client on a device within a separate network enables you to push a remote desktop connection to any unattended PC or Windows server within the network (requires administrative privileges on the network).
3. Support for Windows Mobile
To receive support for a Windows Mobile device, a client can go to your online support portal and start a session just like a normal PC.
4. Support Outside Your Network
