The Bomgar B100™ | Remote support appliance setup [Step 2]

NOTE: Your Bomgar B100™ requires a viable DNS A-Record. If you do not have one, these steps will guide you through setting up a dynamic DNS A-record with Dyndns.com. If you already have a valid dynamic DNS A-record, move on to Step 3: Configure Your Router.

Step 2: Setting up your Dynamic DNS Account

The following instructions are for setting up a free Dynamic DNS account with DynDNS.

NOTE: You will be able to upgrade to your own domain at any time in the future, but it usually takes 24-48 hours for a unique domain to propagate across the internet, so creating a free account will get you up and running faster.

NOTE: If you already have a Dynamic DNS account, skip to Configure Your Router.

  1. Go to DynDNS.com and click Create Account in the top right corner of the page.
NOTE: If you are purchasing a DNS service that includes a unique domain name, click Services on the home page, select Custom DNS, and follow the steps to create your account.
