Remote Desktop Control Appliance Gets Top Marks

CRN's test center recently reviewed the B300™, Bomgar's enterprise model of their unique appliance-based remote desktop control solution. CRN testers awarded top marks to the B300™ and said "solution providers interested in offering support desk services should look no further than the Bomgar Box."
The B300™ was designed for the large enterprise in direct response to customer demand. In addition to providing secure, on-demand connectivity to any PC anywhere in less than 10 seconds without the need for pre-installation or configuration of software on the remote computer – the B300™ remote desktop control solution offers dual processors and power supplies and four hard drives. It can handle 10 times the load of the B200™, Bomgar's SMB model, allowing enterprises to deliver consistent, quality service to a high number of customers.
The newest release of the Bomgar Box™, Version 9.3, has enhanced security features, such as support for multiple methods of authentication and enhanced LDAP integration for easy compliance with application access mandates. The new security best practices guide, compiled with the help of Symantec, also helps ensure that security measures are put in place on the initial setup. The B300™ provides the tools for compliance-ready tech support to all enterprise employees and customers regardless of where they are or what type of Internet connection they use.
In addition to servicing the employees and customers of companies both large and small, the Bomgar Box™ is uniquely suited for VARs. "Its ease of setup, deployment and management makes the Bomgar Box a compelling product for VARs that want to tap the vast revenue opportunities afforded by the technical support services arena," said CRN.
