The University of North Georgia: Streamlining Support with ServiceNow and Bomgar

Located in Dahlonega, Georgia, The University of North Georgia is about an hour north of Atlanta. With more than 50,000 students, The University of North Georgia is comprised of four campuses positioned in the fastest-growing region of the state, and is the state’s sixth-largest public university. The university offers more than 100 programs of study ranging from certificate and associates degrees to professional doctoral programs.

The University of North Georgia's IT department is responsible for supporting mostly laptops, PCs and mobile devices for its students and staff. A Bomgar customer since 2010, they recently implemented the Bomgar and ServiceNow integration, which allows the IT team to seamlessly initiate remote support sessions. The university installed the integration in less than one hour, and in the same day were able to launch Bomgar sessions directly from ServiceNow, and all remote session data was automatically captured in the ticket.
