Prior to using Bomgar, the IT technicians at Cape Fear Community College either traveled in person to user locations on campus to provide tech support or used UltraVNC to provide remote support. However, the
remote support team experienced repeated problems with latency when using the UltraVNC tool. That led Dallas Baldwin, Desktop Support Specialist for the college, to look for a better solution.
