MATT DIRCKS | Chief Executive Officer & Board Member

As Chief Executive Officer of Bomgar, Matt Dircks is responsible for Bomgar’s long-term market and product strategy and leads the company’s day-to-day operations. He also guides Bomgar’s unique culture that is centered on integrity, transparency, respect and innovation.

Matt Dircks has more than 25 years of experience in the software industry with roles encompassing product strategy, product management, engineering, sales, marketing and corporate development. Prior to becoming CEO of Bomgar in 2014, he was the Vice President and General Manager of Service Support Products at BMC software, joining BMC through the acquisition of Numara Software in February 2012 where he was Vice President of Products since 2008. Before Numara, Dircks served as General Manager of the Server Virtualization Business at Quest Software.

Previously, Dircks was President of Full Armor Corporation a start-up he helped transform from a single-product business into a highly-scalable multi-product, multi-channel corporation. He also served as Senior Vice President of Products & Markets at NetIQ Corp, and prior to joining NetIQ, he, served as General Manager for the Web Products Group and Director of WW Product Management at Citrix Systems. Dircks holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa.

BRUCE DUNER | Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer of Bomgar, Bruce Duner is responsible for the Company’s financial, accounting, legal, information technology, human resources, and strategic planning functions. Duner has more than 25 years of senior level finance, administrative and general management experience. After beginning his career with Deloitte Haskins & Sells, he has served as a senior financial officer for a variety of private and public companies in the manufacturing, distribution, technology, and healthcare industries. Prior to Bomgar, Duner was Chief Financial Officer for Surgical Information Systems (SIS), a leading provider of surgical and anesthesia software for hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. While at SIS, Duner was a key member of the transaction team that led a successful equity transaction for his private equity sponsors and led several debt financings and the follow on acquisition of Amkai Solutions. Prior to SIS, Duner served as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Mariner Health Care, and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Wonderware.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Diego State University. 

HUEY NGO | EVP of Products and Services

As executive vice president of products and services, Huey Ngo is responsible for satisfying the product development as well as support and services needs of Bomgar's diverse base of customers. Ngo has more than 15 years of experience leading and guiding product development efforts. At Bomgar, he oversees Software Development, Quality Assurance, Information Technology, Customer Support, and Professional Services efforts. Under Ngo's leadership, Bomgar's development team has secured multiple awards and patents for cutting-edge technology, including Bomgar's patented deployment model, JumpTM Technology, Access SponsorTM, EmbassyTM and Rep InviteTM. Prior to Bomgar, Ngo served in engineering leadership positions at SkyTel, a fast-growing telecommunications company. In his seven-year tenure at SkyTel, Ngo helped lead software design, hardware design and product development. His contributions led to the launching of several of SkyTel's flagship wireless messaging products. Ngo holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University.

JIM NORTON | EVP of Sales and Marketing

As executive vice president of worldwide sales and marketing, Jim Norton is responsible for Bomgar's global sales revenue and marketing strategy. This includes business development, sales support, demand creation, public relations and product marketing.
Norton brings more than 20 years' sales and marketing leadership experience at both the strategic and tactical level. He has dramatically increased revenue at multiple small and large software companies, many of which resulted in strategic purchases and public offerings. His proven sales and marketing processes have enabled these organizations to rapidly scale to customer demand.

Prior to Bomgar, Norton served as group vice president of sales at Exstream Software, where he was responsible for all new sales revenue in North America. He rapidly accelerated growth, which led to a $625 million purchase by American Capital. He was instrumental in the subsequent purchase of Exstream by Hewlett Packard.

Norton also served as senior vice president of sales and marketing at Covast and executive vice president of sales at Derivion, helping both companies rapidly increase sales. Additionally, he held sales leadership roles at EDS, Texas Instruments and TenFold.

Norton holds a B.A. in information systems and mathematics from Muhlenberg College.

DAN DEROSA | SVP of Product Management

As Senior Vice President of Product Management, Dan DeRosa is responsible for Bomgar's product portfolio, product innovation, product marketing, and new product launches. Dan has more than 25 years of experience managing product and marketing functions, and has led sales, channel development and operations teams. After beginning his career with AT&T, Dan worked at Automatic Data Processing, Dun & Bradstreet, Sage Software, Dell SecureWorks and SunGard before joining Bomgar. In these companies, Dan held marketing and product leadership roles and gained experience with enterprise software, security software and services, risk management products, business process outsourcing services, and cloud/SaaS deployment models. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Rutgers University.


As General Counsel, Martin Willoughby responsibilities include legal and risk management, strategic planning, and optimizing the various operations of the organization. During the past 24 years, Willoughby has been an equal-parts business consultant, attorney and entrepreneur with a passion for helping other businesses and individuals accelerate. He has owned and operated successful businesses, strategically advised companies as in-house counsel, and effectively represented clients ranging from individuals to publicly traded entities. Willoughby was previously the Managing Member of Willoughby Law Group, PLLC. He also co-founded a facilities management firm (C&W Management), as well as a real estate ( Willoughby earned his B.A. from Millsaps College and J.D. from Mississippi College.

JOEL BOMGAR | Founder & Chairman of the Board

In 2003, while working as a field network engineer Joel Bomgar developed the first version of Bomgar remote support software as a way to provide remote technical support to disparate users without leaving his desk. Since the company's founding in 2003, Joel has led the company to acquire more than 8,000 customers and increase revenues by over 500 percent. The company's rapid growth has been recognized by numerous awards, including Deloitte's Fast 500, and Inc. Magazine's Inc. 500|5000 for 5 consecutive years.

As a leading industry expert in remote support, Joel has appeared on TV programs and in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, CIO Today, Network World, and Windows IT Pro to name a few . His knowledge of and passion for the industry has led to a variety of awards and recognitions. Joel was named Mississippian of the Year by the Association of Information Technology Professionals and a finalist for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year© 2011 Award in the Gulf Coast Area. He was also accepted into the Young Presidents' Organization, the world's largest network of company Presidents and CEOs. Joel serves on numerous technology and public policy boards.

Prior to starting Bomgar Corporation, Joel worked as a senior network engineer for Business Communications, Inc. (BCI), a systems integrator, where he was responsible for providing technical support and assistance to all of BCI's customers. Joel has nearly a decade of experience in network engineering, and served in the Mississippi Air National Guard where he honed his networking and computer skills, earning numerous network certifications. Joel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Belhaven College.


A Managing Director at TA Associates, Ashu Agrawal focuses on investments in technology and technology-based services companies. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Idera and Prometheus Group and was previously on the Board of Directors of Viewpoint. Prior to joining TA in 2011, Ashu was a Principal at Francisco Partners. While at Francisco Partners, he served on the Board of Directors of a number of private technology companies, including EF Johnson Technologies, Grass Valley, Mincom, Primavera Systems and WatchGuard Technologies among others. Previously, Ashu worked in the Leveraged Finance Group within the Investment Banking Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. He received a BS degree, summa cum laude, in Computer Science and an MEng in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University, and an MBA degree as a Baker Scholar with High Distinction from the Harvard Business School.

HYTHEM EL-NAZER | Board Member

A Director at TA Associates, Hythem El-Nazer focuses on investments in software and communications companies. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Accruent, Gamma Technologies, Idera, MicroSeismic, Radialpoint and TEOCO. He led or was actively involved in TA’s investments in AboveNet, Answers, Aicent, Idea Cellular, MetroPCS Communications, RGM Advisors and WIND TELECOM S.p.A. Prior to joining TA in 2004, Hythem worked in the U.S. and the Middle East offices of McKinsey & Company and in the Investment Banking Department of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in New York. He received a General Course degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, an AB degree in Economics from Brown University and an MBA degree from Columbia Business School.

ROB MEINHARDT | Board Member

A partner with venture capital firm Toba Capital, Rob Meinhardt has more than 20 years of experience as a CEO, marketing executive and strategy consultant in the high tech industry. Prior to joining Toba Capital, Meinhardt served as CEO of KACE, the company that he co-founded in 2003 and was subsequently acquired by Dell in 2010.  Dell KACE was one of the fastest growing businesses acquired by Dell, and today more than 10,000 customers have deployed its award-winning Systems Management Appliances. Prior to founding KACE, Meinhardt served as Vice President of Marketing for AvantGo from inception through public offering (formerly NASDAQ: AVGO, acquired by Sybase), and as a principal in the strategy consulting firm, R.B. Webber & Company, serving clients such as Sybase, Apple, FedEx and Chiron. In addition to Bomgar, Meinhardt is an investor and/or advisor in Clearslide, Directly, Influitive, Alteryx and Oiselle Running, and previously served on the board of Bright which was acquired by LinkedIn.


Scott Davidson has 20 years of senior financial leadership experience and is currently CFO of Hortonworks Software. Prior to joining Hortonworks, Davidson served as the CFO of Quest Software, a publicly traded systems management software company acquired by Dell. Previously, he held strategic financial roles within Citrix Systems and Precision Response Corporation including FP&A, Treasury, Investor Relations and Corporate Development. Before his software focused career, he was a National Bank Examiner with the United States Department of Treasury- Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Davidson holds an MBA from the University of Miami.

TODD GEBHART | Board Member

Todd Gebhart is Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for McAfee. Gebhart was previously co-president of McAfee and responsible for corporate strategy, corporate development, global engineering, and the endpoint, network, management, and the consumer and small business units with shared responsibilities for operations, IT, and finance. Previously, he was the executive vice president and general manager of the consumer, mobile, and small business units. Gebhart has more than 30 years’ experience in the IT industry, and has held senior management positions with notable technology companies in the Silicon Valley. As CEO of Sellectek, he completed the successful small-cap IPO of the company in 1992. Prior to joining McAfee, he was vice president of sales at Alaris, a leader in online video compression technology. Gebhart started his career at IBM, where he worked in a variety of sales and sales management positions. Gebhart received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State Polytechnic University, and completed the executive MBA program at Harvard University.
